OLWNM-President

Greetings,

It is with humility, honor and gratitude that I welcome you to the official website of the Organization of Liberian Women in Minnesota (OLWMN). Our journey began in 2013, born from a collective vision of empowering women, strengthening our community, and fostering a sisterhood rooted in resilience and service. Over the years, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to uplifting women and creating lasting change within our community and beyond.

At OLWMN, we believe that when women come together, extraordinary things happen. Our programs have touched the lives of women and girls by providing support in areas such as domestic violence prevention, financial literacy, and personal development. We have organized initiatives that bring resources to the underprivileged, both locally and internationally, and continue to stand as a beacon of hope and empowerment for Liberian women and families in Minnesota.

Our mission is clear: to build an empowered and unified community where women are inspired to lead, break barriers, and reach their full potential. We are dedicated to providing resources, mentorship, and advocacy to help women succeed in every aspect of life.

I am deeply honored to lead this organization alongside our dedicated board, members, and volunteers. Together, we are writing the next chapter in our story; one of resilience, growth, and progress. We invite you to join us on this journey, whether through participation in our events, supporting our initiatives, or becoming a member of our vibrant sisterhood.

Thank you for your ongoing support and belief in our mission. We look forward to continuing this work together, building a brighter future for all.

With warm regards,

Mrs. Famatta Veronica Zeon
President, Organization of Liberian Women in Minnesota (OLWMN)
